Prices

Prices stated in the web are expressed in argentine pesos and include taxes. They are subject to changes without previous notice due to possible service cost alterations. All sales are subject to General Conditions of Choique Turismo Alternativo ®. Prices must be checked before confirming.

Booking request

To be accepted bookings shall:
Be sent by fax, e-mail or personally in letter with letterhead.
Have all necessary particulars. Passengers’ last name and name, selected hotels, check in and check out dates, arrival means, etc. Once it has been confirmed, 30% of the total must be paid within 48 hrs as deposit, otherwise it shall be off and correspondent total amount for services shall be paid.

Booking modifications

All modifications alterbooking shall produce the following expenses:
hotel and car rent: $10 – for date, category or room type change.
Package: $15 – for program, hotel, date, category and / or room type change. Services shall be added to these prices.

Settlement

$25 of management expenses, for any booked service settlement. Services and transport shall be added to this price.

Banks deposits in Pesos

Once the deposit is made, please sent by fax or e-mail a copy of the coupon sealed by the bank. When the money is credited Vouchers and receipts can be taken. The original coupon can be also exchanged in our offices.

General Condicions

a) Request and Payment:

1) the price and / or service booking which compose the tour are subject to modifications without previous notice when services alteration occurs due to reasons alien to the parties. 2) Any sum of money paid before services’ definite confirmation is received as booking. Services’ definite confirmation and respective prices will be produced with issuance of travel ticket and / or service warrants and correspondent invoicing. 3) Credit transactions shall satisfy all stated requirements or the interested party shall pay in the terms and conditions stated in the contract.

b) Prices include:

accommodation in the places mentioned in the itinerary or other of the same or better category, with simple, double or triple etc. rooms – according to chosen rate, with or without private toilet and taxes. Food regime to be dully specified. Visits and excursions. Transportation from and to the airport, bus terminals and hotels when indicated. Accommodation days, taking into account that hotel days are counted as of 3 pm till 12 pm from the following day, regardless arrival and departure time and full or fragmented use of them. Tour duration shall be indicated in each case, the first day being counted as departure day and the last day being counted as departure from destiny included, regardless arrival and departure times in the first and last days.

c) Not included services and other areas:

1) Extras, drinks, laundry, tips, loading taxes, services taxes, VAT and other current and / or future taxes, nor any other services indicated in the service warrant issued by Choique Turismo Alternativo ® 2) Stay, food and / or additional expenses or damages caused by settlement, transport delays, or other reasons alien to the company. 3) Travel meals, except those specified. 4) Expenses and interests in credit transactions.

d) Right of stay limitations:

Choique TurismoAlternativo ® enjoys the right of making any passenger whose conduct, acts, health condition or other serious reasons put in danger or disturb other passengers or the excursions, abandon the tour.

e) Documentation:

To travel abroad it is necessary to follow current law. The company is bound to truly and previously inform passengers about customs and health requirements for destinations included in the tour. It is passenger’s full responsibility to have all personal documentation. Within Argentina, Passengers shall travel with a national identity document.

f) Settlement

1) In case of withdrawal of credit transactions, amounts paid for information, management expenses, stamping and interests shall not be refunded. 2) When withdrawal affects contracted services, refund shall be subject to contract conditions ruling each service company. In all refunding cases, the agency shall keep the price of expenses plus a commission of 10% of services contracted with third parties.

g) Non regular transport or Charter:

Provision f) shall rule in this case. Notwithstanding the abovementioned, in these cases only the portion of price correspondent to land services (accommodation, pension, excursions) that the organizer determines shall be refunded.

h) Private and / or regular excursions:

If a private and / or regular excursion y settled a portion of the price shall be refunded to the passenger, according to the ticket return date: From 24 hrs before departure: 70%. From 48 hrs and till 24 hrs before: 80%. More than 48 hrs: 90%. If this excursion is settled by the company, the entire price shall be refunded. If an excursion is cancelled owing to circumstances beyond our control (weather conditions, accidents etc,) passengers enjoy right to request the amount correspondent to that part of the excursion, considering all the tour kms. And the kms traveled. No other complaint shall be considered.

i) Transfer and assignment:

The right bestowed upon the client in the contract of tourist services may be assigned or transferred to persons within 30 days prior to departure date, provided that haulage contractor, hotel manager, or service provider prescriptions do not state otherwise. Incase passengers are different ages (minors – adults,) the price shall be adjusted according to rates. Choique TurismoAlternativo ® may charge the 10% of the price.

j) Responsibility:

1) Choique TurismoAlternativo ® states it acts as mediator in bookings and contracting different services connected to and included in tours or other services: accommodation, restaurants, means of transport or other providers. Nevertheless, the company-s responsibilities, as organizer or mediator, shall be determined pursuant to provisions contained in Convencion (convention.)
Choique TurismoAlternativo ® shall not be held responsible by acts produced by chance, or beyond our control, weather phenomena, nature acts, happening before or during the tour preventing, delaying or disturbing in any way the total or partial performance of services provided by the company, pursuant to Codigo Civil (Civil Code.)

k) Alterations and modificatoins:

1) Choique TurismoAlternativo ® enjoys the right, by technical or operating reasons, of altering totally or partially the daily plan and / or services composing the tour, before or during its performance. 2) Except stated otherwise, accommodation shall be changed by other of the same or better category within the same place without any extra charge. As regards these variations, the passenger shall not enjoy any compensation whatsoever. 3) Choique TurismoAlternativo ® may cancel any tour when any of the circumstances stated in Section 24, Decree 2182/724. Once the trip has started, services` suspension, modification or interruption of any kind by the passenger shall not be refunded or returned

l) Arbitration provision:

Any matter arising from celebration, fulfillment, failure to fulfill, extension or termination of these presents, shall be submitted by the parties to the resolution of the Tribunal Arbitral de la Asociación Argentina de Agencias de Viajes y Turismo and / or Mendoza’s ordinary courts, waiving any federal jurisdiction.

m) Imposition rules:

This contract and service provision shall be ruled by these general terms and conditions, by Act 18,829 and its regulation and by Convencion de Bruselas (Brussels Convention) passed by Act 19,918. These general terms and conditions and other documentation given to passengers are the Travel Contract established by such convention.
