Centro Cultural y Deportivo Malal-Hue
Apart for having the most modern Congreso and Convention city in the provinces of the country, Malargüe has a “Centro Cultural y Deportivo Mala-Hue” (Cultural and Sports Center,) which can host 4,500 people. It is the ideal place for sports and art events.

INTERESTING CHARACTERISTICS
At the end of 1994, lateral walls were built with province’s funds.
However, Centro Polideportivo y Cultural “Malal Hue” only could be finished two years later. It was open on December 30th 1997. On the old structure the stage, multipurpose room, dressing room, toilets, other rooms and the 3,200 m2 roof were built. Since then there is a proper place to practice sport and to host many people in different events, such as Fiesta Nacional del Chivo (Goat National Festival,) Fiesta de la Nieve (Snow Festival.) The following year the central heating and floors were placed.
It is a building for 4,500 people, with 4 basket courts, 3 dance and gym rooms, stage for events, air-heating system (3,200 m2.)
MALARGÜE has an imposing natural frame to do sports and other activities. The width of its spaces, the pureness of its environment and the variations on its geography make of this place, PATAGONIA’S NORTHERN DOOR, unique to the development of this kind of activities.
Triatlón de la Aventura ( Adventure Triathlon) (February)
It is a local sport event that consists of individual cycling event, descents on dinghies or canoes, marathon. It is an ideal show to enjoy with family and visit different natural landscape.
Night marathon (November)
It is an international marathon which covers 13,000 meters around the city.
